About Our Pet Bereavement Advanced Diploma

Our Advanced Diploma is specifically written to appeal to all students regardless of their current profession. Our diploma is the most comprehensive currently available in the UK, covering every aspect of pet bereavement that you require to know to counsel pet carers pre, during and post the loss of their much loved pet.

Our diploma is unique in as much as it was written by the award winning pet bereavement counsellor Dawn Murray, who has over two decades of experience successfully supporting pet carers through their darkest days coupled with her invaluable experience as a Pet Undertaker. Dawns expertise in the field of pet bereavement ensures that every aspect of pet bereavement counselling is covered including in depth knowledge of aftercare options, a fundamental subject often omitted from other diplomas.

We don't just want our students to pass our course, we want them to excel as pet bereavement counsellors. All students are allocated a tutor for the duration of the course and we continue to support students as they embark on their journey as a pet bereavement counsellor, a service unique to students of Living with Pet Bereavement.

Our Advanced Diploma is CPD accredited.

Student Feedback

''I have really enjoyed undertaking this Advanced Diploma and I have been extremely impressed with the whole course, from the way it has been written, the content and the support provided.''

''You have made studying this subject, which at times has been hard emotionally given the topics covered, and made it a rewarding experience.''

''What I have learned from this course so far is, how fundamental it is to have this qualification to be able to support and give the correct advice/guidance to pet carers who are going through grief of losing their pet.''

''I am very pleased to be able to forward module three on to yourself after a pre booked crematorium visit yesterday. I would like to add that even being in the veterinary industry I have never visited a crematorium and felt it was a really valuable experience.  I am so pleased it is advised in this course as it really helped me understand the process further.''

''Please find attached my response to Module 6. This topic was fascinating. Dr Boss’ work is really interesting. Would be keen to follow this topic further.''
